Days of the week in Russian

I welcome you to another video teaching Days of the week in Russian. It is intended for students who have no knowledge or very little knowledge of Russian as well as students of intermediate Russian language ability. Пятница / pyat-nee-tsah – Friday
Суббота / soo-boh-tah – Saturday
Воскресенье / vahs-kree-sye-nye – Sunday

Example with Russian day of the week “ПОНЕДЕЛЬНИК” (Monday)

В понедельник я работаю. / F pah-nee-dyel-neek ya rah-boh-tah-you. – On Monday I work.

Example with Russian day of the week “ВТОРНИК” (Tuesday)

Во вторник я тоже работаю. / Vah ftohr-neek ya toh-zhe rah-boh-tah-youu. – On Tuesday I also work.

Example with Russian day of the week “СРЕДА” (Wednesday)

В среду у меня урок русского. / F srye-doo oo mee-nya oo-rohk roos-kah-vah. – On Wednesday I have a lesson of Russian.

Example with Russian day of the week “ЧЕТВЕРГ” (Thursday)

В четверг я хожу в спортзал. / F cheet-vyerk ya hah-zhoo f sport-zahl. – On Thursday I go to gym.

В пятницу я работаю очень много. / F pyat-nee-tsoo ya rah-boh-tah-you oh-chen mnoh-gah.

Example with Russian day of the week “СУББОТА” (Saturday)

В субботу я не работаю. / F soo-boh-too ya nye rah-boh-tah-you. – On Saturday I don’t work.

Example with Russian day of the week “ВОСКРЕСЕНЬЕ” (Sunday)

В воскресенье я хожу в церковь. / V vahs-kree-sye-nye ya hah-zhoo f tsehr-kahf.
